Peony BLOOM Workshop - Saturday 2nd November

Bloom Workshops are back this Spring, with Floral Designer Erica Downes and Flower Farmer Jen Foster taking you on a journey of floral magic, through the beauty of the first season of Peonies blooming on the flower farm. 

Experience an abundance of blooms, create whimsical floral arrangements under the guidance of Erica, experience the beauty of the Peony field and tour the flower farm with Jen. You will learn about our natural and sustainable approaches to farming and designing, from both a garden and flower farm approach.

Create and take home your own stunning table centrepiece arrangement in a beautiful vessel as well as our always-popular floral goodie bags.

You will enjoy a locally catered lunch in the new flower gazebo overlooking the flower farm, and celebrate nature with a beautiful group of fellow flower-lovers.

This is a beginner’s course - no previous experience is required.

INCLUSIONS:

- Tour of Southern Highlands Flower Farm with Flower Farmer Jen, including the Peony field, which will be in bloom for the first time! Learn about growing and harvesting Peonies, as well as the Spring stages of the Dahlia fields and perennial gardens. 

- Photography opportunities, including our very special and unique flower farm mural, created by renowned botanical artist Adriana Picker.

- Wide range of bountiful flowers and foliage fresh from our farms.

- Create and take home your own stunning table centrepiece arrangement in a beautiful vessel. You will be guided through your creative process by Floral Designer Erica and learn about flower selection & conditioning, design methodology & techniques, as well as the language of flowers.

- Floral snips to take home.

- Cut flower seeds to take home.

- Delicious lunch catering will be provided by our ever-popular local cafe Potter's Pantry Bundanoon.

- Q&A with both Flower Farmer Jen and Floral Designer Erica.
