Dahlia Plants

As a Dahlia farmer with a passion for all forms of propagation, I also love growing a selection of my favourite Dahlias as young plants (cuttings) for planting in late Spring / early Summer.

Cuttings are taken from tubers allocated to my cuttings program in late winter / early Spring. Cuttings grow true to the parent plant. This second succession of planting (I plant my tubers earlier in Spring) spreads out the timing of peak flowering and I find that Dahlias grown from cuttings are extremely vigorous, both in flowering and tuber growth, so my Dahlia cuttings form a very important part of my Dahlia patch.

Any cuttings surplus to my planting needs will be released for sale late November for immediate planting. To be notified please subscribe below.
