Italian Poppy 'Colibri Rosa Intenso Salmonato' - SEEDLING

Poppies provide very welcome beauty in the garden as Winter finishes and nature wakes up. This cool season crop will flower in early Spring, with similar timing to Anemones & Ranunculus. Colibri Poppies are a specialty Italian variety with HUGE blooms in the most stunning colour palette. Often grown as a hardy annual, these amazing plants are actually a perennial and can be left in the garden to re-bloom.

This new collection from Biancheri Creazioni in Italy includes varieties specifically bred for commercial cut-flower production and not usually available to the public. 

These 'plugs' are mini seedlings that I source in bulk from Ball Australia for my flower production purposes - these are grown using the same seeds offered in my seed collection. They save me the time in sowing the large quantity of seeds I need and grow vigorously as soon as planted.

The plants you receive are young seedlings with strong healthy root systems. We package them in recyclable/compostable pots with potting mix for both protection and to allow continued growth during transport. These biodegradable pots can be planted straight into the ground with your plant, reducing transplant shock.

SPACING: 20cm (for cut-flower production)

HEIGHT: 30-50cm (taller when grown undercover)

MATURITY: 12-16 weeks
