Viola x wittrockiana
A stunning discontinued variety that we hold the remaining stock in Australia from 2025. Germination rates are consistent for two years (longer if you store them in cool temps!).
Dainty blooms in antique shades from dusty pink to smoky peach to cranberry rose and apricot/caramel. Popular for cutting and perfect for romantic arrangements. The 'Nature' series of Pansy is one of the most loved cutting collections around the world, but sadly discontinued by the breeder, so this is the last stock in Australia!

Pansies and Violas can very successfully be grown as perennials. Cuttings can be taken from plants to expand your collection of specific cultivars, and plants will self-seed resulting in new strains of beautiful Pansies and Violas in your garden.
Growing Instructions
Viola x wittrockiana / Viola cornuta
SOW: Late Summer - Early Spring
DEPTH: 5mm

Stems lengthen over time - for taller stems use close planting, pinch out initial shorter blooms and use climbing support where possible (you can simply plant under roses or use trellis/fencing, close planting works as a support itself also).
